I’ve been in the debt settlement business since January 2000. In addition to all that experience helping people resolve very difficult debt situations without filing bankruptcy, I’ve been through my own share of financial difficulties in my life. Over the years I’ve learned a lot about handling extreme financial hardships. That’s what this blog is about. Sharing what I’ve learned (and am still learning) with people who might benefit from that knowledge.
I’ve spent most of my working life in management positions of various types from small business to large non-profits. I am also a licensed real estate sales agent with first-hand experience helping individuals and families qualify for mortgage loans and home financing.
My personal mission is to help people not only survive, but prosper in tough economic times and through personal financial hardships. I am constantly reading and studying looking for better ways to help people sort out their money messes. It’s safe to say that over the years I’ve become an expert in debt relief, particularly debt settlement of course, and credit repair. I’ve talked to many bank executives, collection agencies and law firms across the country in my efforts to find more effective ways of helping people out of debt. In that time I’ve gained a great deal of insight as to what will work and what won’t.
I am a consumer advocate for ethical debt settlement and credit repair practices and author of the book The Debt Survival Kit.
